There are many challenges in raising a child with disabilities, the care can be very involved and the financial stress placed on the family is incredibly heavy. Our state is ranked one of the lowest nationally providing services to people with disabilities and special needs. Many of us are not aware of these statistics until we are directly affected. Because these statistics are so high, we try to help in as many areas as we can.
| Your support is needed too: |
For every dollar spent in early intervention services/support given to a family/child with special needs, an estimated economic benefit of $1.07 to $17.07 is recognized in the local community. * Strengthening families with a child with special needs strengthens our local community.
